What we keep, what we don’t.
Last updated April 24, 2026.
The short version
CodeWhizz is built by one person and run on Vercel. We don’t sell your data, we don’t train models on your prompts, we don’t share anything with advertisers. The longer sections below get specific.
What you send us
When you sign in, we store your email and a Stripe customer id. When you generate code, your prompt is sent to Anthropic (Claude) for the response, then forwarded back to your browser. We don’t persist prompts or generated code on our servers — they live in your browser session and the Anthropic request log only.
Anthropic
CodeWhizz forwards prompts to Anthropic’s Claude API. Anthropic’s policy is to retain prompts for 30 days for abuse review and not train models on API customer data. See anthropic.com/privacy.
Analytics
We use Vercel Analytics, which collects page-view counts and referrers without cookies and without an IP-level identifier. No third-party tracking, no Google Analytics, no Facebook Pixel, no session replay.
Cookies
We set a session cookie for sign-in (when v2.1 auth ships) and no other cookies. No advertising cookies, no fingerprinting.
Account deletion
Email hello@codewhizz.dev from your account’s registered address. We delete the user record and Stripe customer on the same day. Anthropic’s 30-day request retention is outside our control.
Changes
If we materially change this policy, we’ll email existing customers before the change takes effect.
Questions? hello@codewhizz.dev.
